Danger Announce Assistant Coaches

Grand Island, NE --- The Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team announce the hiring of Corey Bethany as Offensive Coordinator and Jeff Tomlin as Offensive/Defensive Line Coach.
Coach Corey Bethany comes to the Danger with a great deal of experience in the indoor game. As a player, Bethany won two division championships playing wide receiver, defensive back, and a major component on special teams with the River City Rage (NIFL/UIF). He was also a two-time All-Star Defensive Back with the Belleville Justice (MFL) and St. Louis Bulldogs (WFL). He began his career coaching with the River City Rage, and helped lead them to the 2009 IFL United Bowl, winning the Divisional Championship and the United Conference Championship. Along with coaching indoor, Bethany also coaches high school football at Class 6 - Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Missouri. A St. Louis native, he played college football at William Jewell College (Liberty, MO). He and his wife Brandy reside in St. Louis and are the parents of Jalen, Mya, and Tatum.
Coach Jeff Tomlin has been named the Danger’s Offensive/Defensive Line Coach. Currently, he is the head football coach at Grand Island Senior High, Grand Island, Nebraska. He brings 24 years of experience to the Danger, including 18 as a head coach plus playing experience as a defensive back for the University of Northern Colorado. Tomlin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Chadron State and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Doane College. Previous coaching experience includes 2 years as a Chadron State College Undergraduate Assistant; 2 years with the O’Neill High School football team; and 13 years with Alliance High School including 9 as head coach. Coach Tomlin’s teams have qualified for the Nebraska State Playoffs 13 times and have earned four district and six conference championships. He was also selected to be a Head Coach in the 50th Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl in 2008. Coach Tomlin and his wife of 22 years, Maria, are parents to son Mike, 20, and daughter Mackenzie, 18.
