Sewell named IFL MVP


It didn't surprise anyone around the Nebraska Danger when quarterback Jameel Sewell was named the Indoor Football League’s offensive player of the year and the overall MVP for the 2013 season.

"If he wasn’t going to win it, it would have been a conspiracy and I would have been upset," Danger head coach Mike Davis said. "It's good for him. Obviously all the accolades all these guys got, they would trade them in for a championship."

The Danger gets that shot at a championship when it faces the Sioux Falls Storm in the United Bowl at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Sioux Falls Events Center for the IFL championship.
