The Nebraska Danger developed into a power in the Indoor Football League in a hurry.
Charlie Bosselman announced the formation of the Danger in the fall of 2010. Now, just four seasons into it, the Danger has already played in two IFL championship games.
After dropping a 43-40 decision at Sioux Falls in the 2013 United Bowl, the Danger lost 63-40 to the same Storm team in the 2014 title game Saturday night at the Sioux Falls Arena.
"We were closer last year than we were this year," Danger general manager Mike McCoy said. "We just picked the wrong night to not play very well. That's part of the sport and that's part of human nature. You just never know."
