Danger take on Blizzard in Sunday afternoon matchup

There have only been two weeks completed in the 2018 IFL season, and the
Nebraska Danger and Green Bay Blizzard already have a comparison opponent in the Cedar Rapids Titans. In Week One, the Danger earned a 44-31 win over the Titans, but in week two, the Blizzard came up short, falling 47-39.
Green Bay also lost its season-opener to the Iowa Barnstormers in more convincing fashion, 41-20. Green Bay has struggled through the air, ranking last in the league with only 46 yards per game passing. Rushing, however, is a different story as the Blizzard boast the league’s 4th leading rusher Christian Lemay, who through two games is averaging 53.5 yards per game.
The Danger have a smaller sample size to choose from, but feel quite optimistic after new quarterback Damien Fleming impressed against Cedar Rapids, throwing for 106 yards and running for another 56 yards in the team’s 44-31 win. Fleming was also backed up by an outstanding defensive performance from Week 1 IFL Defensive Player of the Week Myke Tavarres, who recorded a sack on the game’s first play and followed that up with 13 more tackles, including two for a loss.
The Danger enter week two off of an early bye week, which allowed many of the players to heal their nicks and bruises from week one.
