If the ball bounced just a little bit differently for the Nebraska Danger this season, the current 1-3 start to the year could easily have been a 3-1 start to the year. The latest instance happened Saturday night when the Iowa Barnstormers were able to score with a little more than a minute to go in the game to send the Danger spiraling to its third-straight loss on the year after winning its season opener. It truly seemed the Danger were going to get back on track after they came out of halftime and took a 39-31 lead over the defending IFL champs. However, the Barnstormers kept it close, and eventually scored on a play that at first looked like Nebraska had sealed the win on. Iowa QB DaQuan Neal appeared like he was being sacked in the end zone with just seconds left in the game. However, he escaped the pressure, and was able to heave it to Connor Hollenbeck who pulled it in and ran the rest of the way for a 42-yard TD. The Danger had a chance to tie it and send it to overtime, but Renaud Lebrecque missed one of his two missed field goals at the most inopportune time to let Iowa escape with a 58-55 win. Lebrecque also missed three PAT's totaling nine points left on the board due to the Danger kicking woes. It's a quick turnaround for the guys in green as they hit the road this weekend to take on the only team they've beaten so far this year in the Bismarck Bucks. Kickoff for that game is set for 6:05 on Saturday, March 30.
